Emails from GL Johnson will be sent out to all employees regarding this year’s open enrollment. It will include information on the City’s current benefits, which we have been very fortunate to have been proposed with zero changes in coverage and zero increase in premium costs.
Like the 2021 enrollment, GL Johnson will post a video with information about the City’s benefits, a brochure with all pricing information and webinars which is scheduled to go live Wednesday, May 18th which will run for 2 weeks, thru June 1st.
A webinar will be available on Thursday, May 19th from 10 am – 2 pm. Links in order for employees to log in and participate, will be emailed shortly with instructions for this webinar.
Employees are encouraged to log in and attend this webinar. In addition, GL Johnson will be available at City Hall for one on one appointments to discuss individual questions with AFLAC representative on May 25th between 10 am and noon. These will require appointments which will need to be requested thru GL Johnson directly, via an appointment time link that will be made available.
Please note: If an employee is NOT making any changes to their current plan and wishes to remain on their current Tier plan, NO ENROLLMENT CHANGES ARE REQUIRED. The employee’s information will simply continue as normal.
